What is learning? Learning is one receiving and comprehending new material; comparing
and transforming the new information by taking a connection of old concepts that was taught to
one prior from new facts given and amassing the new understanding in long term memory. So
when the time comes, it can be used in school experiences or life lessons. How does learning
take place? There are two ways learning can happen; auditory helps one hear the information and
have the opportunity to repeat back the facts to one’s self. Using visual-spatial can help one learn
by showing them the information and giving them a visual idea. Through central executive, this
test one’s knowledge through a summative assessment on what they have learned from seeing
and hearing the new material. This technique also explores both imagery and auditory converting
both into long-term memory. In what way can learning take place in dance? Learning in dance is
using the mind to help the physicality of the body move instructively in different ways at
