Who are the organizing bodies that have given us the television standards we
use today? Who are the organizing bodies that gave us the
standards we’ve used in the past? Briefly summarize the important features of
these past and present standards.
For many years, the NTSC (National Television System Committee) system was
used for television broadcasting in North America, Japan and other countries. NTSC
was the format of video which carries the picture information with 525 lines and 30
