Damaged to Property Narrative
This report is written by R.O Decorie SMITH, assigned to the Training Academy, Day Shift.
On Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 6PM, Squad 2569, (myself, in full duty uniform and operating a marked
MPD squad) I was dispatched to a Criminal Damaged to Property at 6880 N. Teutonia Avenue, The
Milwaukee Police and Fire Training Academy, a training institution.
“I arrived at room #182 of the Milwaukee Police and Fire Training Academy at 6:00 PM. I spoke to caller
Johnathan A. CRUZ (w/m, 10-12-96) who stated that his Tomato plant vase and the gutters to his home
in the northwest corner had been damaged intentionally and without his consent. CRUZ said this
happened at the Milwaukee Fire and Police Training Academy, room #182 and he wants the suspect
prosecuted.”
“I spoke to CRUZ at approximately 6:08 PM, in front of his property; CRUZ was standing near the
damaged vase. I observed that CRUZ was distraught, that he spoke rapidly about his disbelief. I observed
the damaged to the plant vase and the gutters.
CRUZ said that he arrived home at approximately 5:50 PM, entering the rear of his home; once he
arrived at the front of his home he noticed the damage to his property and called the police
department. CRUZ said that he has home owner’s insurance, policy number # 17AXZ42 with American
Family Insurance. CRUZ said that he did not have video surveillance of the incident and does not have an
Alarm System. CRUZ said that one of his neighbors was out and saw what happen.
“I spoke to MCINTOSH, Shaundae S (m/b 01-0396) at approximately 6:18 PM, on his front porch.
