Can’eh’dians vs. Everybody.
What is Culture? In my opinion, culture is what sets apart a society from another. It is
what can make a person, a community, a belief, a country unique compared to others. Culture
refers to the way humans learn to live with each other; by distinguishing human nature and
personality based on behaviors, attitudes and ideas (Cobian, 2011). With that being said the
question being asked is, does Canada have an independent culture? Is there really such a thing
known as a Canadian culture? The answer is yes. Canada has many cultural beliefs that other
countries do not have. The Canadian culture’s characteristics are very specific to this country
alone. The best way we can see our country having an impact on the world and the citizens of
this culture are through things such as; having its own culinary culture, a unique language and
slang culture, a remarkable cultural identity, and most importantly Canada’s very own influential
