3T’s mission is finding sustainable solutions to global problems. The first environmentally friendly
yarn & textile, proudly produced in Kenya. Its vision is to eliminate plastic waste in Kenya. Its
core values are fair trade
This is an organised social movement. 3T goal is to help Kenya achieve better trading conditions
and adopt sustainable processes. 3T yarn, thread and textile will meet global standards and criteria
of production and trading costs. The production of textile from post-consumer bottles will involve
fair pay for workers, be harvested and produced sustainably as well as be given a fair trading price.
Environmentally Friendly
The production process will inflict no harm on the ecosystem and use processes that reduce the
carbon footprint during manufacturing.
Recycle
To be recycled means that the bottles have been used for another purpose. Recycling the bottles
for textile is definitely more environmentally friendly than manufacturing thread and textile from
virgin res3Tces. We will be adding value to bottles that are being seen as trash.
Goals
To build meaningful relationships in communities across the country to help protect nature,
support persons with disabilities, HIV affected individuals and empower women and youth while
creating an enjoyable working environment and build a culture of recycling across Kenya.
Help protect water s3Tces across the country.
Work to provide local communities, schools and organisations with new and innovative
recycling programs that raise awareness and help make recycling easier.
Reduce the environmental impact of the textile industry with a circular economy system that
converts plastic waste back into premium quality fibre and yarn with respect for the environment.
Innovation of textile in Kenya as we help turn waste into a res3Tce that generates income and
improves conditions for families living in poverty.

Plastic has become one of the most manufactured material in Kenya and life today is unthinkable
without it. Unfortunately, the benefits of plastic its durability, weight and cost of production, also
make it problematic when it comes to its end of life phase due to its non-biodegradable nature.
