Social Entrepreneurship Idea
What is social entrepreneurship? “Social entrepreneurship is a combination of commerce
with social issues. Social entrepreneurs aren’t only concerned with profits. Success is also defined
by how their business improves the world. Unlike nonprofits, social entrepreneurship still earns a
profit, but the focus is placed on the social or environmental change made while earning that
profit.” (Tyre,2019). An entrepreneur is a person who gets to decide and create her/his project and
business. An entrepreneur gets to make their own rules and sets the companies policies instead of
following one unlike when working for someone else. Most importantly an entrepreneur must be
creative, someone who is willing to make a change, take a risk, and ensure its success. The
entrepreneur gets to select and make a business model that she/he feels passionate about, which
leads to creating a business concept with a new form of organization, new product, or a new
service, and a way to fund it and manage it. One more important thing is to think creatively on
how customers will interact with the new product or service, it needs to be in a way to catch the
customer’s attention.

in which we all live”( Desi, 2018). Furthermore, Social entrepreneurship matters because it
maximizes social benefit, as they deliver benefits in a self-sustaining way by using their revenues
to finance activities that generate social benefit.

passion, I would put so much effort, time, and love into learning how to decorate cakes and
chocolates, and it will always end up as something better than I expected. I recently started joining
online pastry baking courses, so when I read the question of “what are you passionate about to
