Social Entrepreneurship Idea
What is social entrepreneurship? “Social entrepreneurship is a combination of commerce
with social issues. Social entrepreneurs aren’t only concerned with profits. Success is also defined
by how their business improves the world. Unlike nonprofits, social entrepreneurship still earns a
profit, but the focus is placed on the social or environmental change made while earning that
profit.” (Tyre,2019). An entrepreneur is a person who gets to decide and create her/his project and
business. An entrepreneur gets to make their own rules and sets the companies policies instead of
following one unlike when working for someone else. Most importantly an entrepreneur must be
creative, someone who is willing to make a change, take a risk, and ensure its success. The
entrepreneur gets to select and make a business model that she/he feels passionate about, which
leads to creating a business concept with a new form of organization, new product, or a new
service, and a way to fund it and manage it. One more important thing is to think creatively on
how customers will interact with the new product or service, it needs to be in a way to catch the
customer’s attention.
Social entrepreneurship is important because it brings more awareness and comes up with
solutions to social, cultural, and environmental issues. Also, the significance of Social
entrepreneurship is that it sets to turn a profit as well as find success while also helping others all
over the world without the involvement of misconception and fraud. In other words, “social
