Background
The Sunset Limited was first a novel and came to the public as a staged play. According to
Wikipedia, it was first in the theatre in Chicago, then in New York, and even Galway, Ireland.

The 2006 play by McCarthy was adopted into a great film by tommy Lee Jones in 2011, which
also starts in the movie. The story involves two characters who are each other's perfect opposites.
Their views on philosophy, religion, and beliefs are in complete opposition's, as one is a gnostic
atheist, who wished to die, while the other is an ex-con man, who has experienced the voice of
God, giving him another shot at living life the right way.
