SUMMARY OF PLANT AND CELLS
Plant and animal cells are eukaryotic. They contain membrane-bound organelles like the
nucleus and mitochondria. Plant cells and animal cells do not have the same organelles since
they have different need. Plants need chloroplast to perform photosynthesis, plants does not get
their sugar from eating like animals, so they require sunlight to get sugar and once the sugar is
made, it is then broken down by the mitochondria to make energy for the cell. Animals do not
need sunlight to make sugar since they can get it from eating and they only need mitochondria.
