Summary and Response to “We Are All Writers Now”
Professor Anne Trubek presents the article “We Are All Writers Now.” In the article, she
illustrates how our society is improving the quality of writing. Today, a lot of young people
come to college capable of summarizing an event from a story or able to write an individual
response to a play. But they have a struggle with writing a college essay; understanding an article
or taking someone’s argument apart and summarizing. She also highlights the many reasons
social networking has incredibly improved our reading and writing.
