How engaged your team is really?
According to ADP research, employees are likely to feel engaged in their work
when they are part of a team. Leaders who want to increase their production
should know that engagement of employees is a driver of productivity. But
according to researchers of this article, several teams may not be as engaged as
they seem to be. They did research for three years in which they found out that
one third of a team falls into group of pseudo-engaged meaning that these teams
seem to be engaged in the surveys that were taken and to the management but
when they looked carefully into it they found that these employees indicated
disconnection such as opposition to their fellow employees and deceit the
management. The reason for this was that these teams consist of people who
individually are engaged and want to enhance their own careers rather than
devote themselves to a team. Managers should understand what is happening to
solve this problem and they can do this by looking out for these three indicators:
