Strict parenting effects
Are your parents strict? Some research shows that families are stricter than others with
their children. In addition, strict parenting causes significant effects on children’s behavior.
Some families deal with their children in strict manner. Likely following parents
instructions. In this method the children and the parents are understanding among them
with perfect paths. As a result, a mother and a father will simply support kid’s goals. For
instance, parents who decide appropriate hobbies for them, when they have free time and
what type of friends can get along with. All these kinds of associations and life style have
major consequences for success. However, the strict parenting in a family has some
problematic aspects at kids behavior, such as poor social skills, little confidence and low
self-esteem.
First of all, strict parenting in a family tends to poor social skills. The children are
dominated and they do not make their decisions. In addition the kids will be weak on
communication with other people. Strict parenting plays a major role with social skills.
Bonnie Rochman states, “Emotional health and social skills play a major role
too.”(par.12).Basically children have poor relationships with others because they suffer
from their parent’s treatment. In the situation, this is negative factor from strict parenting.
Another negative component that can be obtained from strict parenting is little confidence.
