In Michael M. Wechsler’s article, “Stop and Frisk: Your Search and Seizure Rights,” stop
and frisk, also known as Terry Stop, originated from the U.S. Supreme Court ruling Terry v. Ohio
which indicates that any police officer who has a reasonable suspicion along with his experience
