Synopsis
I decided to do my “unessay” project on Bonobos. I’m going to create a website about how they
live, how they differ from other apes, and why their behavior is so unique. The reason I am
doing my project on Bonobos because they were the ape that fascinated me the most. The
behavior of the Bonobo is cool to me and this project would allow me to learn even more about
them. My goal from this project is to further my knowledge of the Bonobo apes but also inform
others of them in a creative way. Ill discuss how the Bonobo is found in the Congo in central
Africa. They enjoy forests and swampy areas. The Bonobos are very gracile compared to other
apes. Bonobo’s are capable of compassion, empathy, kindness, patience and sensitivity. In
Bonobo societies females are a higher social class than males. This is very unique because most
cases males have a higher social class in other societies. Bonobos are also highly sexually active
and use this as reconciliation. Using this information and more I will construct my website.
