What the Health?
For this assignment I chose the broadcast television documentary “What the Health.” The
documentary focuses on meat consumption and it’s affects on health. The documentary in it’s
entirety uses countless sources and studies as well as peer reviewed journals as the baseline for
the documentary. For this specific assignment I chose a big section of the documentary which
focuses how Carbohydrates and sugar are not the cause of diabetes but rather meat consumption
and it’s role with increasing risk for diabetes. This specific study used as a source is published by
the National Center for Biotechnology Information at the U.S National Library of Medicine.
1. Research Questions and Hypotheses:
1.1. Does consumption of meat increase the risk of diabetes?
