In Natalie Goldberg’s Stalker and Dreamer she claims that there are two different types
of people in the our society. There are stalkers who live among us by doing as they are told.
Then, there are dreamers who do things their own way without need of direction. Goldberg
argues that stalkers are all around us and that is what our society consist of. When I was first read
this I was thinking I was a stalker, but the further I read I started realizing that I am a dreamer.
Goldberg claims that you either learn from within or from exterior motives. My Fiance is a
stalker and I am a dreamer. My children are also examples of learning from watching and
learning from doing it on their own.
