By the end of 1932, Stalin’s brutal defeat had decreased the ability of creativity.
Between 1917 and 1932, Russian art flourished as it took inspiration from an exhibition before
Stalin’s clampdown in Russia, creating a historic victory.
It surrounded Kandinsky’s fantastic and innovative composition, with changing abstractions of
Malevich and the Supremacists, and the emergence of Socialist Realism, to defeat the Stalin
regime.
The exhibition also included photography, filmmaking, sculpting, painting, and drawing. It
produced propaganda posters from all over what is known as the “Gilded Age.” New designs
and depictions of what occurred in the era came back to life. Such things recreated included
daily life scenes in the home, in the pastoral landscape, as well as textiles, porcelain, and
vintage music playing pieces. Certain items such as watches and clothes were also reimagined.
