1. I chose the babies class.
2. I chose the magazine titled Pregnancy and Newborn Magazine.
3. The page rate is 19,500. The circulation rate is 257,253
4. The rate for a 1 page 4 color in Cosmopolitan is 268,515. The total circulation is 3,038,365.
5. The page rate for the Oakland Press for weekday is 10,332 and the circulation is 23,089.
The Sunday rate for a page is 11,340 and the circulation is 36,772.
6. The rate for The Macomb Daily is 68.15 x 126 = 8586.90 and the circulation for Sunday is
39,699.
7. I was very surprised. I thought that I was not looking at the right information. It was a lot more
expensive than I thought that it would be. A company is paying for the exposure that it is
getting. The more views or circulation that the media gets, the more expensive that it is. That
is because the message will be viewed by more people than it would in a lower circulation
media.
8. I would be in step 5 of my campaign. Evaluating and selecting a media. I would use the
budget to decide where, when, and how often I would advertise.
9. It is expensive because print media can reach a large audience or a target audience. An add
can get a lot of exposure. You can choose which media would be the most likely to reach
