In McDonald’s case, the problem is that customers and some franchise owners are
unhappy with multiple lines of service. You could gather information from the customers
and franchise owners to solve this problem. You could ask them about the problem and
what they think the best way to solve the problem is. If you don’t want to talk to
customers and franchise owners you give them a questionnaire instead. Competitors
and other businesses such as banks handle customer lines differently. When people go
to banks they want to solve their problems/get useful advice about their financial
situation and they usually go in feeling anxious. Banks try to provide service with
minimal hassles that can help customers get rid of their stress. Banks also have more
organized and efficient customer lines that allow customers to speak to a bank
representative faster.
