Sportsmanship vs Gamesmanship
Sportsmanship and Gamesmanship are two terms that are often associated together when in fact
they are two completely different terms, both play within the rules but one of them uses ploys
and tactics to gain an advantage over their opponents. Sportsmanship is more about being a good
person, putting your morals and emotions a head of performance while gamesmanship is more
about what you do and what your teammates do that allow you to be successful. Taking
advantage of both will show a tremendous amount of disrespect to the sport and to the people
playing the sport. Taking advantage of Sportsmanship and Gamesmanship in the end can hurt
your performance also may hurt how you look at the sport once you are done playing it can also
hurt how you go about life and how you deal with difficult situations.
