Roger W. Sperry initially carried out this study to determine how the human brain would react if
the corpus callosum was split into two. Sperry was able to conduct multiple studies on the brain
while experimenting with animal subjects. Sperry was able to figure out the functions of both the
left and right hemisphere. Once he figured out the brains two hemisphere’s, this was not enough
