Emotional Disturbances in students can have various impacts, can be seen as different
reactions, and can come in many different forms. Texas Partners Resource Network (TPRN) has
created key videos that explain the umbrella of disorders that fall under emotional disturbances.
They have identified six of the following disorders: anxiety disorder, bipolar disorder, conduct
disorder, eating disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and psychotic disorder. Texas Partners
has the subcategories well laid out so that they are explained in detail and how they can affect
children’s lives long-term.
