“Something Borrowed”
In a variety of occasions, we see business ideas fading away or even worst business falling
apart at the beginning stage. For Hayman and Fleiss, it was not the case, two young
entrepreneurs with an ambitious plan decided to be cautious and take a time to vetting their
women dress renting business idea. In order to answer several questions, approaching designers
in the women dressing industry for feedbacks helped them adjusting the initial idea. Running
different tests such as letting women try on the dresses will expose a before and after demeanor,
determine if women will rent dresses, the designers will they rent, the amount of money willing
to pay, the possibility to return the dress by mail and the risk of getting it back destroyed. Are
women being excited to rent without trying on first? To answer this Hayman and Fleiss ran
another test by only showing the dresses physically without trying and lastly just showing
