Taboo – strange love
This video is very unique. They were all very strange to me because they were all different
from what I am used to and what I view as normal. The one that I found most interesting
was the story about the guys that had dolls as their wifes. This was strange to me because I
feel like people should have another partner in their life that is real. I don’t think it is
normal to want to be so dominant and in control as a man, to the point where you buy a
doll that costs $5000. They talked about how it is less stressful because they don’t have to
give them attention when they don’t want to and they dress the dolls however they want. I
personally think it would be more stressful to have someone that isn’t realistically there.
He has no one to talk to about his day or his feelings. To me they both just simply use the
dolls to have sex with and I think that is very strange and not normal at all. I believe that
everyone should experience the feeling of love and I don’t think you can really love a doll.
Another story in the video was about the young children who are told who they have to get
married to at a very young age. This is part of their culture and the females family paid the
male’s family $15 dollars. That is a lot of money for them, even though it doesn’t seem like
