Emile Durkheim explores the concept of the law in sociology as a functionality of the
social cohesion. He raises his major concerns about the social transformations and the aspect of
cohesion in the course of these continuous changes. In his approach, he evaluates the
significance of crime and law in the functionality of the society. However, he makes use of these
features to consider the impact of social changes such as labor division on social solidarity.
Emile Durkheim provides deep insights about his theory spurring continuous questions about the
essence of social transformation as well as the capacity these changes portray in affirmation of
social cohesion. Additionally, he avails various significant mitigations towards resolving the
problems arising due to these changes.
