Sociological Perspectives
Sociologists try to explain the ways people interact within the societies. Sociological
perspectives are the tools that help sociologists to build theories and hypothesis. According to
Dunn, the sociological perspective is a paradigm that describes the world of human behavior
and society. Mooney, Knox, & Schacht (2012) state that a perspective is simply a way of
looking at the world. With the help of it sociologists try to explain what influence people and
societies have on each other.
Scientists apply sociological perspectives in order to develop new explanations, which
are more complicated than traditional ones. Different social groups are considered as integral
parts, which interact with each other. Such approach helps sociologists to explain certain hu-
