Pocket, formerly known as read it later is an app that manages reading list of articles saved
by the users. It allows users to save article from a webpage into their pocket list for offline
reading. It also lets users change settings such as text size and font. This app is compatible
with OS X, Windows, iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry. This app was created by
Nathan Weiner, in 2007. It originated as an extension of Mozilla Firefox, but as it grew
over the years it was developed into an app.
Read It Later name was changed into Pocket in 2012 and at this point the app had more
than 4.5 million users and it became free for everyone. It also had new updates: users
would now be able to save videos and pictures as well. The biggest achievement as its
support from other major apps like twitter, Flipboard and Zite, meaning users could save
stories from those apps onto pocket. This is changing the face of social media because
Pocket is helping all of apps to integrate ad work well with one another. These are steps,
