Social media improve communication in various ways. It helps everyone to connect
faster, effective, and efficient. However, there is the negative side of social media as
well. Discuss your argument on the following topic:
Social media does more harm than good to teenage users
Technology has advanced tremendously throughout the years. There are so many
facets to social media, that most people can see why it has become the entertainment outlet
because it is the main way for communicate. Social media has a large impacted society in
positive and negative ways. While it is used for business and communication, among other
aspects, it has many negative impacts for those who use it, especially adolescents. The
negative complications are seen through the encouragement of cyberbullying, false sense of
friendship, increased dissemination of fake news, scamming and hacking.
Social media is a big outlet for cyberbullying among teenagers. Over half of
adolescents and teens have been bullied online and have involved in cyberbully. Since
