Social Media and Cyber Bullying
These days many people are a part of cyber bullying. In my lifetime, I have mostly seen
it with high school kids, but I know it can happen to anyone. I have seen it first hand, and I have
seen how it tears people down.
Cyberbullying is more accessible on social media sites just because of the freedoms that
the sites allow us to have (Russel 1). All ages of people should be aware of the effects of
cyberbullying, but the ones that need to pay attention the most to it, is teenagers. Most people
have heard of what cyberbullying is, but they don’t know the full extent of it. They don’t know
how it makes other people feel.
There have been studies on cyberbullying and they state that more than half of teenagers
and adults either get cyber bullied or are the ones cyber bullying (Russell 1). According to the
