How has social media affected parent’s decision to vaccinate their children.
Introduction:
Seems like people are talking more and more about different celebrities or social media
activists speaking out against FDA vaccinations. Some of these include whooping cough,
influenzas, Chicken pox, and roto virus. The real question many ask themselves is why would a
parent not want to have their child vaccinated? Just a few days ago according to ABC News
“Rebecca Bredow was held in contempt of court for refusing to follow a court order to vaccinate
her son” (ABC 2017) This was about a disagreement between her and her estranged husband. In
a world a world of such a strong social media presence, exactly how much of an impact does this
social media outlet have on any generation of parents?
