I do agree that beauty or the lack of it influences one’s life. The halo and horns effects come into effect
during the begging of your life. The begging of your life starts with halo because all your perception of a
baby is just sweet and nice because of how cute it looks. As your life goes on that’s when your looks
start to come out and your personality as well. I think that people who are not as attractive have it
harder in my opinion, then again, everyone has their own thought of beauty and what they think it
should look like. I also think that your physical look also has a big part in it. I’ve witnessed so many times
where people would have the quality an everything they would need for a job and just wasn’t hired
“Just because”. Whereas, when your beautiful in the interviewer eyes they will hire you regardless even
if you’re not able to provide what they are looking for. I honestly think that the halo and horns effect is
very similar to racism in so many ways, you’re basically judging someone from their looks and not who
they are for real. As stated on page 343 were a study was going on in Ontario on traffic stops, people
