Snoop: An Opinionated Summary
Growing up I always had the inkling of a concept that what people own says something
about them. That was why decorating your own room as a kid was so important, because it was
your way of expressing who you are. It wasn’t until I read the novel “Snoop”, which was written
by Sam Gosling and unfortunately is not a Snoop Dogg biography, that I was shown that my
childhood concept was in fact a legitimate scientific study. According to Gosling’s research,
there is a clear correlation between what items people possess, as well as the placement of these
possessions, and personality in a variety of different ways.
Throughout the book, Gosling made clear to cover many different aspects of personality
related to different “stuff,” meaning that he assessed room decor, music choice, clothing, even
