THAVANESHAN IS MY NAME
Abstract
In this abstract I will like to introduce myself and my family members of
what we have gone through throughout my life since primary school and then to
secondary school. Once done with my secondary school life I have stepped into
doing my diploma and my working life, and finally I am here in University
Technology Petronas to continue my undergraduate studies. Secondly, I will
discuss about how I manage to my stresses throughout my school life and once I
entered my working life with such a hectic and work force they gave under me.
The challenges I faced at beginning of studies life until I entered University
Technology Petronas which I had struggled a lot to do all the assignments, tests
and also keep up my Cumulative Grade Point Award (CGPA) with a higher level
so I would be shinning among the other students during my internship.
THAVANESHAN IS MY NAME
Thavaneshan is my name. 1994 is the miracle year for me so im 23 years old this year. Im
origin from the city of lights Kuala Lumpur. Currently im persuing degree in B.Tech
(Hons) Business Information System. Im the youngest in my family with two sisters and
two brothers. My mother is a house wife and my father passed away when I was one year
old young. Life is so difficult for us ever since my father passed away because I would
say we are the child who born with silver spoon because as per my mum said, my father
is very good in his business which contractor for underground piping and big wheel
transport rental service eventhough his education level is until standard 5. My elder
brother is the life savior for my other 3 siblings and also my mum. In the young age he
sacrified his higher studies for us to be in a good place. He start work as a lorry driver at
the age of 17 right after one year my father passed away, till date he is my only gurdian
beside my mum. He did bare all the education cost of me and my other 3 siblings. My
first sister did her degree in Business Administration at Stamford College and now she
married working as Team Leader in Hay Group . My second brother did his degree in
Mass Communication at Universiti Malaysia Sabah and now he is working as a Inpector
of Police in Kedah under crime branch, currently he doing his Masters in forensic science
at Open University . My second sister did her degree in Acounting at Unisel, she is
married and currently she working as a senior accountant in Maybank. Finally me persuin
my degree in UTP now. I would say being successful in life is the only way to pay for
what my brother and mother sacrified.
I have 7 years of experience in Athletics as a cross country and middle distance
runner. I did start my athletics life as a long distance runner in age of 14 after I won 7th
placing in schooling Merentas Desa. That’s where I would say God give me amazing
people in mylife. There is a teacher in my school SMK Taman Sri Rampai, his name

Mohd Hairi , he do train students who interest in athletics. He did treat me as his own
son by encouraging me in all aspect. He even always used to tell that im his ‘anak
angkat’. This is amazing right when I malay man treat a indian boy as his own son . He
even pass me his bike just for me to use
so it will be easy for me to attend training sessions. Now im in this position he is one of
the reason because even my family members didn’t support me to perform in athletics but
he did.
So I started from the very basic runner cross country in early stage then
participate in track and field events. Journeys start as 5000m 3000m stepplechase runner.
I did represent Kuala Lumpur 5 times for both cross country and Track&field event. I did
set 2 state record Kuala Lumpur under18 boys for 5000m and 3000m steeplechase qnd
gold medal in 1500m in 2011. My best achievement during active in athletics is Majlis
