1) I believe employees would like the idea of being more involved. Then again, some employees
would be uncomfortable with it especially the employee is used to having to take direc&on
without ques&on. This ques&on answer is it just depends. Employees with limited abili&es or
handicap capabili&es may resist this type of approach.
2) The answer to this ques&on is that it all depends on a number of factors like size, or social class.
Small businesses include a range of ,rms: small, larger, and some with substan&al amounts of
capital to give greater a.en&on to the managerial process. Some small businesses have the
substan&al amounts of capital to being while others may simply begin opera&ons without having
any par&cular managerial exper&se or able to a0ord anyone of such exper&se. For the number
of reasons listed above any several more, the quality of management is not likely to be rela&vely
uniform in all types of small businesses.
3) The four stages of growth are: one person opera&ons, player coach, intermediate supervision,
and formal organiza&on. The entrepreneur will move from star&ng as a doer to becoming a
manager as the business moves through these stages. The entrepreneur must be more than just
a self manager. As the intermediate levels of supervision are introduced the managerial process
