Should The NCAA Pay Their Athletes a Salary for Performing?

For the last few years, there has been an ongoing debate. The big question is whether or
not the NCAA should pay their student athletes a salary for playing. Some argue that players are
already being payed in tuition and meal plans, while others discuss things like possible injuries
and suspensions along with time managing problems that could leave players with nothing. From
the administrators’ point of view there are still conflicting views on the matter contributing to
this debate becoming stagnant overtime. In an attempt to revisit and further scrutinize this de–
bate, the opinions of several administrators from the NCAA and administrators from the college
itself will be explored.
Before being put into the team, players have to sign a lengthy contract full of rules and
