Should Everyone Go to College?
The claim of authors Stephanie Owen and Isabel Sawhill, in their article, Should Every
Go to College, state that everyone should have the opportunity to go to college but it is not for
everyone a wisely decision or investment. “For certain schools, majors, occupations and
individuals, college may not be a smart investment” (209). Which mean that they are a couple of
factors that can determinate if college is a smart investment or not. But not everything is about
money; some “research suggests that additional education improves overall wellbeing by
