1. First step is identifying the problem and conducting research on that topic
2. Second step is constructing a hypothesis
3. Third step is constructing your experiment
4. Fourth step is collecting the data of the experiment performed.
5. Fifth step is analyzing the data
6. Sixth step is interpreting the data
7. Seventh and final step is reporting your findings
1. Identifying a research topic takes research of it own. Searching and making sure the
questions you are asking are a researchable topic.
2. Constructing a proper researchable hypothesis is very important. A good researchable
hypothesis tests a relationship between two or more variables.
3. A well-prepared experiment ends results that give a good statistical range. While
constructing your experiment, you must determine the location, number of people,
and who you will be testing.
4. When collecting the data, you need to choose what technique of data collection will
be used and transcribing it into data that can be statistically tested.
5. Once everything has been collected it must be organized, analyzed and summarized.
6. Once everything has been organized and calculated, the data must be interpreted. You
must see if your findings match your hypothesis and how the results fall in the bell
curve.
7. Lastly when all the information is interpreted, you can write a conclusion and make
sure your research and experiment are ready to be reported.
