Doyle’s character Sherlock Holmes is undoubtedly the most known detective in the
fiction
World. Sherlock Holmes may be the most known detective but he isn’t the only famous fictional
Detective. Poe’s character Dupin is also a well known detective in, The Purloined Letter. These
two detectives are always being compared to each other. They share many similarities with each
