Sexism is an issue that we face and see everyday. However, it is a polarizing issue in my
opinion. For example, during the Democratic Primary race there are people solely voting
for Hillary Clinton just because she is a woman. To me that is the definition of sexism.
Voting for a candidate to be President of the United States based on their gender. This is
the same as the people who voted for President Obama except it in my opinion it would be
considered racism. This is a small problem that only gets exasperated by feminist groups
that promote the vote of women based on them being a woman. The issue occurs when
somebody says that they wont vote for a individual based on the gender and they call that
sexism and get loud and vocal about it so in a way it makes some women feel as if they
have to vote for a woman.
At the end of the day people can be swayed by any number of factors but If I were to say
that I will only vote for male candidates I am sure that select feminist groups would take
offense to that and end up saying I am being sexists. I do not think that they would be
