Human trafficking is a result of man’s urge and power to control another person also
known as Modern-Day Slavery.
Traffickers offer victims promises of a better life, great employment opportunities. These
victims only become aware of these false promises once it’s too late, after they have been
stripped of their identity (in some cases passports of women brought in from other countries),
they have been both physically and mentally abused into submission making them believe this is
the only life left for them and there’s no one that would help them or want them back into
society. Victims range from being women from different countries, runaways, or just plain
kidnapped off the streets from local shopping malls, gas stations, etc. There has been cases in the
