SAME-SEX MARRIAGE
In the United States, there are so many issues that need immediate action and attention
one way or the other and same-sex marriage is one of such. The picture of same-sex marriage at
a first glance is like someone trying to store water in a basket which seems impossible or rather
doesn’t make any sense. Before I started my research on this topic (same-sex marriage), I took
out time to study thoroughly and understand the meaning of same sex marriage, what it stands
for and the e&ect it’s going to have on the minds of the younger generation. My conclusion on
this topic was to bring to the knowledge of the general public why same-sex marriage should not
be legalized or should be legalized in the United State or anywhere in the world.
Same-sex marriage has been a huge and controversial issue debate in the United States
for some time now. It has been mentioned in presidential debates based of the decision of it
being legalized by states in America. The controversy surrounding same-sex marriage makes it a
more interesting topic to research about. In recent times, it has gained so much attention due to
the knowledge that there are so many same-sex

marriage couples out there that was first taught, that want same rights as straight couples. My
main purpose of writing this research paper was to high light the main reasons why same-sex
marriage should not be allowed or legalized in the United States or anywhere in the world. But
a+er a lot of research work well done, have come to nd out the true nature of same-sex
marriage. At the beginning, my whole mind set was to write against and also vote against it
without a second taught. I even went further by developing my own theory which is “In the
beginning of creation, God created a man (Adam) and a woman (Eve) not a man (Adam) and a
man (Steve). It has always been a man and woman, not a man and a man or a woman and a
woman.
Who are we to tell people how and what they feel is wrong. The raising audience of
same-sex marriage seems to be growing by day and night. Same-sex marriage was just a time
