Battleship “Potemkin” – silent art film, shot by Sergey Eisenstein at the
“Mosfilm” film studio in 1925. In the 1920s, the Battleship Potemkin was
an icon of a new time, a new cult, a new order, and now it is an icon of
the great Soviet cinema.
Eisenstein made the film “Battleship Potemkin” when he was only 27.
The fact is truly amazing, especially when you see people moving on the
screen excited crowds and think that all these crowds were ruled by a
very young director, angrily shouting into the megaphone.
The scenario for which the film was shot is based on real events that
occurred in June 1905, when the team raised the rebellion on the
battleship Potemkin .
I was very touched by the first and last episodes of this film. When
