As a senior at Eisenhower High School, I have been provided with many opportunities
for extra curricular activities and achievement. I have always strived to take advanced classes
with a full four years of math. During my time in high school, I have been a member of the
school marching and symphonic band. The band has taken first place trophies across the state
and placed at the state competition. On top of participating in the school band, I have also been
a member of the Eisenhower Debate Team for all four years and attended the state tournament
as part of the state 5-A runner-up team. Along with band and debate, I have focused on my
business and financial passion. I am the Eisenhower Business Professionals of America chapter
Vice-President and have been a member of the organization for four years along with now
serving as the state historian for the organization. In this past year, I have placed first and third
in two accounting categories at the state conference for BPA. I have volunteered at two
Neighbors United events, the Kansas Special Olympics Softball tournament, and an elementary
school Christmas workshop. After high school, I plan on attending Friends University for four
years to dual major in accounting and computer science. Then, I plan on attending Kansas
State University for a year to obtain my MBA and pursue a career as an accountant to help
make financial decisions for a business. I found my passion for accounting in my junior year. I
