Introduction-Hey how are you all doing tonight my name is josh Roberson I am a senior at south
west Guilford high school. I did my senior project on firefighting.
Why– I have been a volunteer firefighter with Colfax fire department for about two years.
Witched I am proud to say I won rookie of the year.
I have been inserted in firefighting ever since I can remember
I think the reason of that is because my dad was a volunteer firefighter
He would take me to some of the training fires they would have.
I am taking firefighter one and two classes at night so I can get my certification in December 2012.
Until I finish and get all of my certification I can not go in to a live burns I can only stay out side the fire
and fight the fire defensively, but I can still ride on the truck and go on calls.
I need this certification to be a full time firefighter.
In the fall of this year I will be taking my EMT
