Selection of My Self-Leadership Change Project: Prioritization
What do you want to start doing? Or what do you want to stop doing? Decide what type of
change you will strive to undertake in yourself over the next six weeks. Then, submit a
paragraph that identifies your targeted change, why you chose it, and who it may benefit
besides yourself.
I’ve chosen to focus my Self-Leadership Change Project around improving my
prioritization skills. I decided to work with this skill because it can benefit me and those I
come into contact with. It will directly have an impact on the rest of my life if I’m able to
successfully refine prioritizing of daily tasks and long-term projects.
When I was growing up there were between 3 to 4 others in the house that could be
beneficial in this project by aiding in evaluations and observing possible changes in
environment, but since my brother is in Atlanta, Georgia at Georgia Technical Institute, my
sister is in Athens, Georgia at the University of Georgia, and my father is working
full-time as a Vice President of an international company called AAK in New Jersey, that
leaves only my mother to give evaluations at the house that we currently live in. There
