EDUCATION
Business Transfer, Cape Cod Community College Completion: Fall 2015

President, Student Senate January 2015 – Present
oSuccessfully campaigned for the position of President of the student senate. Increased the percentage of
voters from 1.4% of the student body to 3.5% of the student body.
oIntroduced online voting to increase voter turnout.
oOrganized Events throughout the year including the first ever college day. Hosted two blood drives with more
than 30 people each time giving blood.
oWorked with the administration to stop the closure of the life and fitness center at the college.
Vice President, Economics Club September 2014

oHeld bi-monthly meetings with Business professionals from all over Cape Cod and the South Shore.
oOne of five students from economics club chosen to go to Haiti and visit a microloan financing program with
a focus on the global economy and the economic situation in a developing nation.
oReceived a 500$ scholarship from the club.

oAttended bi-monthly meetings in which we had a speaker series
oWith the help of the Rotary club, we were able to raise 15,000$ for the construction of a well in Saint Marc

oEngaged in a Q and A with the secretary of Higher Education where we discussed pertinent issues such as
tuition hikes and the lack of funding for extra-curricular activities
oAttended breakout sessions that focused on brainstorming to come up with ways that the state schools could
give back to their community.
