Seeing into the Dream Variations
Dream Variations by Langston Hughes is seemly short and simply put. He describes a
certain picture. Hughes make the reader envision an action through a truly enjoy able poem. It
helps to first know a background on Langston Hughes. If the reader didn’t know anything about
the poet, I don’t feel they would be able to grasp the full light of the poem. This poem paints a
strong beautiful picture for the black people of our past, using two stanzas and with the use of
well-placed words.
