Second Hand Smoke- Essay
Second hand smoke is a problem that we deal with in our daily lives. Smoking not only affects
smokers, but the people around them. Every time a cigarette is lit, there is more pollution, more
sickness, and in some cases smoke can create diseases. Because smoking only destroys, it should be
complete banned in every state of the United States. If we are trying to have a good future we need to
take some tough stances.
According to a report on michiganlive.com, Sam Singh, a representative from Michigan State,
introduced a legislation that he feels it will protect children from the dangers of second hand smoke.
Moreover, his legislation imposes a $500 fine to any person that smokes a tobacco product inside a
motorized vehicle that is carrying anyone under the age of 18 years old. By already having tobacco
banned in such places as restaurants and parks the next logical step to save our future is to pass this
