SEC Filings and the EDGAR Database
Abstract:
The EDGAR Database is an amazing tool for businesspeople or investors to research a business.
Its two best qualities are that it appears to be free, it’s easy to use, you can look up most any company
that is traded, or even private ones that have info listed. For businesspeople this is a god send as it
makes researching a business a much easier task than it used to be. Just looking on the site one of my
favorite companies, Nvidia shows things like insider trading reports. You see quite a few of them as you
will with basically any company. But it’s the fact that it makes this information public which is quite nice.
The whole site is just amazing and makes doing this kind of thing much better.
