Search for Gunman Responsible for Shooting Two Officers
A manhunt for Michael Vance has been conducted in Oklahoma after he allegedly shot
and killed two family members and then shot and injured two police officers with an AK-47.
Vance was recently released from jail after being held for child sexual assault allegations. After
Vance shot at the officers, hitting one in the foot and the other in the leg, he stole their patrol car
and drove it to a trailer park. The Oklahoma highway patrol stated that Vance has a “medical
condition” and “may try to spread disease” but never elaborated on the statement.
Authorities were called after reports of shots fired. The officers approach Vance only to
be shot at immediately. Vance has also carjacked a woman and then shot her and drove off.
Reports of Vance documenting his run from the law have been put up on the live streaming on
