1. Trace the development of Science and Technology from the Pre-colonial times up to the
present. What have you observed?
From the pre-colonial period I have observed that people out of curiosity or should I say the
need of making our lives easier are the reason why inventions arose. Other than that, people
also tend to use technology to be able to address the needs of the current period and making it
easier for the people to fulfill the society’s needs. This inventions starting from the pre-colonial
times are still beneficial up to the present times.
2. What do you think are the major contribution of science and technology to the Philippine
nation building?
The major contribution of Science and technolofy for me is how it was able to make the
Filipino lives easier thank before in a way that the present time was still able to use the benefits
of the past. Let us say for example the economic progress of the Philippines was greatlt affected
by science and technology in a way to produce goods for the needs of the society.
3. What specific government policy do you like the most in terms of contributing to the
development of Science and technology in the Philippines?
